Rex Type Begonias

Deep red/purple edge contrasts with a silver band and blackberry purple heart on a leaf with a strong swirl at its centre. The young leaves are suffused with a sliver sheet. A medium sized plant.

The leaves have exceptionally well defined spirals with chocolate brown and silver colouring. Medium sized leaves.

As the name suggests this variety has the appearence of B.'Fireflush' but with the extra spiral at the heart of the leaf.

This is a large leafed rex. The central veins are dark green, the main area is silver and towards the edge is bright with silver dots becoming red right at the edge.

One of the most stunning Begonias around. A large swirled leaf of olive green and silver. The leaves are up to 30cm long on red hairy stems. Quite large.

Dark green leaves with even darker edges and centre. The whole plant is covered in red hairs, markedly so on the young leaves. An exceptionally beautiful plant.

Spiral bright green leaves mark this out as a very unusual foliage plant. The spiral is highlighted by a red band.

Rocheart is a beautiful mottled and spotted spiral leaved Begonia. The leaves swirl around starting deep plum purple in the centre blending to pink, silver and green at the edge. A tight compact plant.

This variety is a new Begonia rex bred at our nursery and which we think is quite outstanding. Sal's Comet is purple at the centre then becoming deep pink with sliver background. The edge is again a deep plum with lighter red dots. Deeply serrated leaves.

The silver leaves of this plant shimmer in light. The dark edging produce a filagree pattern hence the variety name. The dark red underneath shows through in the leaf veins. Overall a stunning compact plant.

Roughly ridged leaves with incredible 2cm+ hairs covering the surface of the leaves and stems. The young leaves are extremely hairy and tactile. Medium sized leaves.

One of the largest leaves of all our begonias, measuring up to 45cm in length. Silver/ grey foliage with a metallic sheen.

A medium sized red leaf. As its name suggests the foliage is black with a bright dark red interveinal marking. A remarkable variety.
